RIVER OAKS CHARITY

Creating Community – Caring for the Environment

From a ‘pond trolley park’ in 2009 to a multi-award winning pond arena. From a derelict play area in 2017 to a fun, safe place for young kids with views across the Mersey. Now ROC has begun a long term strategy to transform the field and woodland.
A journey full of strategic vision, community commitment and hard work.

WHO ARE WE?

Nestled between Mersey Road and Riversdale Road in the Aigburth area of south Liverpool, we are an inclusive community determined to welcome all who pass through to enjoy the beauty we have, and are, creating.
Our mission is to create a strong, caring and authentic community, and care for the extensive 20 acres of varied woodland, field, pond and play area we have on our doorstep – so that they can be shared and enjoyed by the wider community for many years to come.

Fundraising Appeal

River Oaks Charity is run by volunteers only and all the on-going cost are 100% met by a small number of regular donations and ad-hoc donations. Examples of what is covered by these donations include (but are not limited to):

* Maintenance of the Pond, Woodland and Wildflower Meadow *
* External surveys of the Play-area and woodland, plus any remediation work *

We are a small charity and every donation counts and makes a huge difference! You can support us through our “Give a Little” page by making a donation here.
